Job description
Great opportunity to join a medium sized independent commercial insurance brokerage, currently in growth mode and keen to add an additional commercial account hander to the broking team. This is a quality and well established business based in Central Durham.
In this role, you will be dealing with a wide variety of mainly existing clients, all commercial and could be anything from smaller SME, to mid-market and larger. Some cases you will be able to deal with entirely, others you will assist the Account Executives and Account directors.
On a daily basis, you will be assisting with new business enquiries, compiling submissions, making amendments to existing policies, marketing and negotiating renewals etc. It is important that you enjoy communicating with clients and insurers on a daily basis and have a good eye for detail.
Ideal applicants will have previous commercial insurance experience and good all round knowledge of most classes of business.
