Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very well respected commercial insurance brokerage based from Leeds City Centre. They are experiencing some phenomenal organic growth, and as such have created a brand new role within their commercial broking team.
In this role, you will be supporting the Account Executives, dealing with a wide range of commercial insurances, mainly mid-market risks with annual premium spends up to £100k, although you may be involved in significantly larger cases. You will be involved in compiling new business submissions, making amendments to existing policies and marketing and negotiating renewals. This role will involve you speaking to clients and insurers on a daily basis.
Ideal applicants will either have held a similar role or perhaps, you’re currently and SME account handler, who feels it might be the right time to move up the ladder and start to work on larger cases; therefore, this could be a fantastic career move.
The environment is really good, professional and enjoyable with a decent social scene. Currently, they work on the basis of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home and are located in a very appealing part of Leeds City Centre, a very short walk from the station.
Previous use of Acturis system would be desirable (not a prerequisite, full system training can be provided), you will be supported towards CII qualification if you choose to pursue this.
