Due to recent plans for development and growth, there is now an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded and well respected national organisation. It is an ideal time to be part of the company’s long term development aspirations with high investment being currently injected into the organisation to become an even bigger player in the UK market.
Ideally you will reside in Scotland or the North of England.
They are now looking for potential employees with drive and enthusiasm to join their workforce focusing on developing and building solid books of business within the SME, Mid Corporate arena. Depending on the location of where you live, you may be required to work from home and be in their regional office in Glasgow approximately 2 days per month, although this role would mean that you are on the road seeing clients as and when required.
Ideally you will be technically competent on most classes of commercial insurance and ideally currently working as a commercial account handler wishing to make the next step up, or are currently working as an external business development and or servicing executive role. The types of clients you would be targeting will be a mixed range but it’s essential that you have a broad knowledge of general insurance business having dealt with a broad spectrum of commercial clients.
In return, the company will be supportive in terms of marketing and sales support with warm leads being provided from their internal sales team so as to help you perform the role to its full potential. Should candidates have existing pipelines and clients that could be transferred over then this would be advantageous but again not essential.
You would need to be proactive in developing the existing prospect list, and also generating new potential clients through their network of contacts within the business which are already warm.
