Job description
My client is a very well respected and successful independent commercial insurance brokerage. They hold chartered status and are committed to funding CII qualification for all staff who wish to pursue this. This is a brand new job opening that has recently been created, purely down to growth.
In this role, you will be inheriting an existing client portfolio (around £75k brokerage income), made up of a wide variety of commercial risks with premiums spends from £5k to £100k, all based within the West and South Yorkshire area. These are loyal clients, which will not be under attack from the previous Account Executive.
As well as client management; you will be working with the sales team, who will provide you with a consistent flow of accurate, quality, and very warm leads. Any new clients that you convert will automatically be added to your growing portfolio.
This role would be best suited to an individual with a good all round commercial insurance knowledge, perhaps an experienced broker or account handler looking to step up into a full Account Executive position, with regular client visitations and the opportunity to build your own portfolio.
This role comes with an excellent basic salary, bonus and full and comprehensive benefits package. Our client currently works on a flexible 3 days in the office, 2 days from home basis, although as an account executive, you will mainly be out and about meeting with clients, so there will be a good level of personal autonomy and diary management.
Their modern and appealing offices are conveniently located on the outskirts of Leeds, close to major road connections and with plenty of parking available.
