Job description
Our client is a long established and very well thought of insurance brokerage based in the North Leeds area. They have opened up a brand new role, ideally suited to an experienced account executive skilled in both client retention and new business development.
In this role, you will inherit a small book of commercial clients, probably worth circa £75k income, made up of mainly mid-market clients; the rest of the time, you will be working on developing new clients, reacting to incoming leads and enquiries and working with the development team.
This is a great business, genuinely committed to work life balance and able to offer flexible working to fit around family commitments (school runs etc.) The office is conveniently located in a desirable area with plenty of parking and areas of green, if you wish to take a stroll at lunchtime.
Ideal applicants will have previous Account Executive experience and a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance; you may currently be working for a demanding business and seeking a new environment, which is more relaxed or perhaps you’re currently in a pure new business role and wish to have more involvement in client retention and relationship management.
You will receive full administrative broking and account handling support from an excellent team based at HQ, freeing up your time to be meeting with existing and prospective new clients.
