This is a fantastic job opening with a high quality independent insurance brokerage with an established branch in Newcastle City Centre. Our client has been experiencing an exciting period of growth recently, both organically and in terms of acquisitions and presents an excellent career opportunity for ambitious insurance professionals.

This is a rare opportunity to inherit a loyal client portfolio, made up of an interesting mix of general commercial clients, primarily located in the North East of England.

Ideally applicants will have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance, with previous client facing experience and a proven track record in building sold long-term client relationships. Previous use of Acturis and progress towards CII qualifications would also be beneficial. 

This role is primarily client retention oriented, although there will be some minimal new business requirements, the emphasis is on existing clients.

It is anticipated that this opportunity will evolve into a more management oriented role over the next couple of years with a genuine and realistic chance that you will move towards Divisional Director status.
