This is a fantastic opportunity with a very successful independent commercial insurance brokerage; the role is home based and will involve inheriting an existing client portfolio due to an impending retirement.

Despite the recent Covid crisis, our client has continued to experience tremendous growth; they haven’t needed to make any redundancies or furlough any staff, quite the contrary, they have continued to recruit.

This is a home based role and will involve you taking over an existing client portfolio, made up of a wide variety of commercial clients. There will be a growth target and you will be expected to continue to develop new clients as well as servicing the existing book.

You will be supported by an excellent team at head office made up of brokers, account handlers, DA Underwriters, claims and sales support. The team will be there to provide the support you require in order for you to focus on client relationships and business development.

You will be provided with a home office set up includes laptop, mobile phone, internet and a generous car allowance. You will also be set up on Acturis system and will have underwriting authority on some schemes as well as access to all major insurer markets.

This is a role suited to individuals looking for greater autonomy, wanting to be in control of your diary and not being micro managed. The role is ideal for individuals with a good all round commercial insurance knowledge able with a good track record in client retention and able to build upon the existing portfolio by being proactive and new business focused.

This role offers numerous remuneration formats and enables you to generate a much higher personal income than you would expect from a standard employed role. There is also a lucrative “earn out” opportunity available.
