Job description
This is a home based role with a large amount of autonomy, and control over your diary / working pattern. You will have the ability to set your diary accordingly to suit your personal / family requirements and desired work pattern.
Our client is a quality commercial insurance brokerage. In this role you will be building and retaining your own client portfolio, dealing with all classes of commercial insurances with access to all markets, composite, Lloyds and specialist, including some exclusive schemes where you will have “the pen” with a number of insurers.
You will be supported at head office by a large team consisting of brokers, account handlers, claims, DA underwriters etc. They will take away the lion share of administrative tasks, ensuring that your time is freed up to spend with clients / potential clients.
You will be able to utilise numerous distribution channels providing quality new leads, as well as working in a proactive manner to generate your own new clients. Longer-term there will be opportunities to inherit clients as a part of their succession planning.
This role could appeal to those of you in a similar “Account Executive” position, but looking for a new home or greater autonomy OR this could also appeal to experienced commercial brokers, handlers or commercial underwriters looking to step up into a client facing account executive role.
Although this role is initially salaried, there is an option to go commission only and thus receive a much larger personal income based on the size of your client portfolio.
