This is a fantastic senior job opportunity with a quality independent commercial insurance brokerage; long established, well respected with a low staff turnover and a high level of client retention.
Our client is keen to make the high profile appointment of “Branch Managing Director”, joining a very experienced senior team of quality insurance professionals, all with excellent reputations (not ego’s).
This role will require you to manage the day to day running of the business, both strategically and in terms of “hands on” leadership by example. As well as your management duties, you will be responsible for budgeting, business and growth planning, recruitment and involvement with potential acquisitions. It’s also likely that you will take a lead on some of the larger and prestigious accounts and important 3rd party business relationships
Ideal applicants will currently hold a similar position and be looking for a fresh challenge, perhaps working for a national and looking to manage an independent broker with more autonomy; able to make a greater difference and to be freer from internal processes.

You will be smart, professional and a strong communicator, with a good all round commercial insurance knowledge (ACII preferred but not a prerequisite), well connected and with good leaderships qualities; ideally a positive and motivating force.
