Market Conditions 2020

Following on from a fantastic 2019, we anticipated a really strong market in 2020. The year started really well with a record number of placements and lots of exciting growth all over the insurance market.

Unfortunately, none of us were anticipating a global pandemic and the Covid 19 lockdown stopped us all in our tracks. Despite the tragic loss of life, it has really put everything into perspective and shown us what is truly important in life.

We take off our hats to all the NHS staff and key workers and all the little acts of kindness we’ve seen and being able to help out with, whether that be checking on our elderly neighbours, donating money and materials to those kind folk making face masks (shout out to Amy Fox) and all the charitable acts, money raising 5k’s, Joe Wicks PE and of course Sir Colonel (Captain Tom) and his extraordinary achievement.

We are starting to see some green shoots coming through so hopefully the market is starting to pick up and gain some momentum very soon.

We will aim to continue the year where we left off and do our best to help our candidate’s secure new roles and our clients secure new staff.
