Commercial Placement Broker - Leeds City Centre

Our client is a fantastic commercial insurance business conveniently located in Leeds City Centre. They have achieved impressive growth over the last 24 months and have really exciting plans moving forward, which will involve creating some great new roles in their Leeds office.

They currently require two dynamic “Placement Brokers” to focus on commercial risks paying between £5k and £500k, some of which are relatively straight forward and some which will be more technically complex risks, which makes this role really interesting for brokers who like a challenge.

Working within a professional and friendly team environment, you will have access to all insurer markets including major composites, Lloyd’s specialist markets as well as some exclusive schemes. As the role evolves you will develop a strong knowledge of the insurer markets and good level of expertise, in terms of where to place risks.

Ideal applicants will have a strong all round commercial insurance knowledge; progress towards CII qualifications would be beneficial and will be fully supported. It is important that you have great communication skills and enjoy building client and insurer relationships and the longer-term desire and ability to develop a thorough knowledge of the insurer market.

It is preferred that you have at least 3 + years commercial broking experience and have previously used Acturis system.
