This is an excellent opportunity to join a quality independent broker based in Leeds City Centre. This role has arisen due to tremendous growth despite the current climate, they continue to add new clients and have not needed to make any redundancies or to furlough any staff during the Covid crisis.
Headed up by a very well regarded Branch Director, you will be a joining a team and an environment, which based on feedback from other successful candidates, is very positive, professional and enjoyable. Obviously they are working on a very flexible home and office basis at present.
This is a commercial broker / handler role, which will require you to work with the account executive team providing support, both in terms of account handling administration and broking / negotiating with insurers on a wide variety of commercial clients with an annual premium spend of between £5k and £150k.
Ideal applicants will have at least 1 to 2 years commercial insurance experience, preferably broking although we will also look at underwriters looking to move into broking. You will be provided with full support towards CII studies and and full system training (Previous Acturis use would be beneficial but is not essential).
