Job description

This is a unique account executive opportunity, home based and with full home office set up and a generous car allowance.

You will be building your own client base of which you will personally retain 100% of your own clients as part of your portfolio. Predominately a general commercial bias but with access to a number of specialist schemes, one of which you will have “the pen” and be in a positon to make your own underwriting decisions.

You will be provided with a lap top and mobile phone, using Acturis system and with full support from head office including broking, admin, claims, sales and marketing and a team of delegated authority underwriters. There is also the benefit of receiving some of your new business leads via a fantastic and exclusive distribution channel.

This is very much an autonomous role and therefore likely to appeal to individuals looking to be in control of your diary and working patterns, whilst having the opportunity to earn a higher level personal income.

Ideal applicants will have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance and have the drive and determination to build a book of commercial clients (or potentially bring some across from your previous role) and to retain them.

This role come with an “earn out” opportunity, as you will be developing an equity stake in your client portfolio; this will be a great financial benefit further down the line.

You will receive a good level of basic salary, full and comprehensive benefits including a generous car allowance. As your portfolio increases you will have the opportunity to move onto a higher level remuneration which will be directly connected to your client portfolio value.
