This is a superb opportunity for an individual who enjoys sales and marketing. Our client is a very successful independent insurance brokerage, award winning and very much a local “success story” in terms of their rise from creation to the current status they enjoy.

As a dynamic business, they have experienced fantastic organic growth over the last decade, mainly achieved by sticking to a decent set of principles in providing an excellent service to their clients. They have a very low staff turnover, a very high client retention and have created some unique and exclusive insurance schemes.

They have also set up an academy aimed at providing career minded individuals an entry opportunity into the insurance industry with a genuine learning infrastructure including full financial and study support towards CII qualifications.

This particular role is brand new and focuses on business development. The role is split into 3 main areas, the first being telesales and lead generation. They require an individual who has a good track record in generating new leads, making appointments and making an impressive first contact with potential new client.

The 2nd part to this role is to be involved in research and marketing, compiling lists of target businesses and trade sectors, assisting in devising the strategy, attending events, networking etc.

Finally, there is a requirement for the successful individual to manage the company’s social media accounts, ensuring that that they are kept up to date, fresh and exciting.
